Sven Laux

Sven Laux was born in Neubrandenburg, Germany in 1984 but is currently living in Berlin. He began making music in 1998 with simple programs and his first keyboard. In 2000 he realized that electronic music was his favourite style for sampling and looping tracks and began creating his own sound. He released and remixed on labels like spontanMusik, Multi Vitamins, Archipel, Miniscule, Tropic, Mischievous Musique and others.
In his DJ-sets, Sven tries to focus on playing tracks that are unknown to the crowd, many of them include the latest releases from various labels and netlabels.
In 2008 he started a new project called Offtopic. Under this moniker he wants to create non-dancefloor-oriented music, which is done via improvisation. Today he is focusing on building a name for himself in the scene by releasing on different labels around the world.
